So how do you advertise a gas brand's winter warmer deal to people who hate winter?
You do it in a tongue-in-cheek Aussie-fied way.
Idea: Origin, knows better than anyone that Aussie's weren't designed for the cold. Which is why they've got great deals to help Aussies stay warm all winter long.
WE STARTED WITH SOME RADIO ADS THAT SHOWED THE DISPARITY BETWEEN AUSSIES AND OTHER COUNTRIES THAT EXPERIENCE WINTER:

THEN WE WENT ON SHOOT AND CREATED THREE VIDEOMATICS OF HOW AUSSIES HANDLE WINTER. (ON OUR DIGI ASSETS, THESE ACTUALLY MOVED!):



And what's a weather based campaign without some weather triggered billboards? Here we had the letters of the ad blow away, drip, and freeze in response to the weather outside:
